Getting Started: Set Up Piloteer on Your Device
This guide walks you through the first-time setup shown in the video. The full process takes about two minutes.
Before you start
- Use your Piloteer invitation within 3 days. If the invitation expires, you will need a new invite.
- Piloteer Commander should already be installed on your device by IT.

Step 1 - Open your Piloteer invitation
Open the onboarding email and click the Piloteer website link. The email will include your username, typically your email address, and a temporary password.

Step 2 - Sign in with the temporary password
Enter your username and temporary password on the Piloteer site. You can use the eye icon to confirm the password was entered correctly.

Step 3 - Create your new password
When prompted, create a new password. Your password must be at least 14 characters and meet the security requirements shown on screen. Remember this password because you will use it to sign in to the Piloteer app.

Step 4 - Confirm access to your dashboard
After setting your password, you will be taken to the Piloteer dashboard. It may be empty the first time you sign in. Your data will begin to appear after you start using Piloteer.

Step 5 - Open Piloteer Commander
On your Windows device, open Task Manager and look for Piloteer Commander. IT should already have pushed the application to your device. If you cannot find it, contact the Piloteer team so we can coordinate with IT.

Step 6 - Connect the Piloteer Console
Open the Piloteer Console and sign in using the same email address and the new password you created during setup. Select Sign In to connect the Console to your dashboard.

Step 7 - Allow device permissions
The first time you use Piloteer, your device may ask you to allow audio and video recording permissions. Approve these permissions when prompted. This should only be required during your first session.
You are ready
